The Gillot Creamery was founded in 1912 on the site it occupies for one century, in the heart of the hedged farmland of the Orne. Six successive families took charge of it to keep the real tradition of Norman cheese alive.
The workshop of moulding by hand with a ladle stands at the heart of the creamery, and, if the movements are identical since the beginning, the environment changed a lot with the application of the most stringent technology and qualitative specification.
